UPSC CAPF (ACs) Medical Standards: Lasik Surgery

  • Age range: 18 to 35 years
  • Axial length ranges from 21 to 26 mm.
  • 425-micron corneal thickness
  • 6 D pre-LASIK mistake
  • Post-operatively, the period refractive flap must remain stable.
  • Interval – 6 months (a post-operative period is required).

When applying for the UPSC CAPF AC 2025 Vacancies, individuals must have completed 06 months after the LASIK surgery.

  • No palpable or visible glandular swelling elsewhere on the individual’s body.
  • The chest should be well-formed, with no abnormalities including
    • a flat chest,
    • Pigeon chest, or
    • shaky rosary effects.
  • An individual’s heart and lungs must be in good working order.
  • Limbs, hands, toes, and feet should be well-formed and fully developed, and all joints should move freely.
  • No old/ malunited bone fractures.

  • No congenital malformations or abnormalities.
  • Not showing any signs of recent/ acute or chronic disease, indicating a weakened constitution.
  • No genital urinary tract illness.
  • No knock knees, flat feet, or varicose veins.

    • TACHYCARDIA (more than 100 pulses per minute),
    • BRADYCARDIA (less than 50),
    • hernias,
    • hemorrhoids,
